As you reach village Pangot, you are guided to
Jungle Lore Birding Lodge by the local people.
A 5-minute walk down to the lodge rewards you
with common stonechat, dark-throated thrush, slaty-headed
parakeet, streaked-laughing thrush, red-billed
blue magpie, yellow-breasted green finch, russet
sparrow etc.
The Lodge has 5 cottages with attached toilets with running hot and cold water.One of the cottages is a living room that serves as a common dining hall giving travelers a chance to meet like minded people and never be short of conversations!
The other cottages are independent bedrooms with twin beds, two of them having an attic each that can accomodate two additional persons in each attic.
The main cottage and one other cottage has a fireplace.
The small cottage has an attached toilet and a hot shower. The size of the small cottage is 12’x12’. The extra bed will be on the floor or a folding bed.
The standard cottage has an attached toilet and a hot shower. The size of the cottage is 13’x13’. The extra beds will be in the attic that are accessible from the room itself.
The large cottage has an attached toilet and a hot shower. The extra beds will be in the attic that are accessible from the room itself. This cottage also has a fireplace.
Heaters are provided in each cottage during winters.
We have 6 rooms in Kafal House with en suite facilities, adjoining Jungle Lore. Heaters are provided in each cottage during winters.
